Instruments
Every teacher works from the same trial-lesson process, whichever instrument a student picks.
See lesson formatsPiano
From first scales to grade exams, on an acoustic upright in every room.
Guitar
Acoustic and electric, folk to rock, starting from age seven.
Voice
Technique and repertoire for a student who already sings and wants to sing better.
Drums
A quiet electronic kit for early lessons, moving to the acoustic room once posture is set.
Strings
Violin and cello, taught in the Suzuki method for our youngest students.

How lessons work
A thirty-minute weekly lesson, a shared practice log with a parent or guardian, and a recital every term so the work has somewhere to go.
Book a trial lessonOur daughter's teacher noticed she was bored with the book before we did, and had a new one by the next lesson.
Denise Okafor · Parent
Started on a whim at thirty-four. Eighteen months later I played at the winter recital and didn't hate it.
Marcus Yun · Adult student
Every student starts with a trial lesson.
Half an hour with a teacher, no obligation to continue, so you and the student both know before you commit.
